• Recurring, not one-off. Rates are frozen per referral at the time of sale, so a change later never rewrites what you've already earned.
• No self-referrals. Signing yourself up through your own link is detected and flagged, not paid.
• Free trials pay nothing until they convert. GruntPay has a 14-day trial; commission starts on the first real payment, and that first payment is 100% yours.
• Refunds reverse commission. If a customer is refunded, the commission on that payment comes back off your balance, even if it was already paid out. Payouts wait 60 days so most refunds land first.
